Public Opening Hours
The Grainger Museum is open on the first Monday of each month (2pm - 3pm) and for public events throughout the year.
The Grainger Museum is closed on Public and University Holidays.

Academic Access
The Grainger Museum is open for Teaching & Learning purposes by appointment.
The Collection is available online and to researchers and students by appointment

General admission is free.

Public Transport
Catch the No. 19 tram North along Elizabeth Street/Royal Parade and alight at Stop 11: University of Melbourne.

Parking
Limited street parking is available on Royal Parade, directly out the front of the museum.

The Grainger Museum is accessible for wheelchair users and the mobility impaired. If additional assistance is required, please contact us in advance.

Cycling
Bicycle lock racks are available at the front and rear of the Grainger Museum, and throughout the University. A free public bike pump and repair station is adjacent to the bicycle lock racks at the front of the Museum.
