Student Composer in Residence program
Students studying degrees in music at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music may apply to participate in the annual Grainger Student Composer in Residence program, run in collaboration with IgniteLAB (Faculty of Fine Arts and Music). This opportunity invites musicians to develop and perform a live work responding to the Grainger Museum and Archive, and is open to soloists or ensembles of up to four musicians. The funded award provides $2000 to support the composition and performance, which will be presented at the Grainger Museum.
