Grainger Museum Gate 13, Royal Parade Parkville, Melbourne

Adam May and Paul Carey are Duo Agogo. Their live performances captivate audiences, presenting a fiery display of one of the first truly Brazilian instrumental music forms performed from a uniquely Australian perspective.

The Melbourne guitarists perform traditional Brazilian choro music as well as original compositions inspired by choro and other Brazilian forms and rhythms. Adam and Paul have been performing and recording together as a duo since 2009, and have performed from festival and conservatorium stages to the gritty back lane bars and clubs around Australia.

Duo Agogo will perform at the Grainger Museum in conjunction with current exhibition, Instrument of Change: Visions of the Guitar in the Early Twentieth Century.
