Open Rehearsals for music students

Vocal students rehearsing in the Grainger Museum
Vocal students rehearse Vaughan Williams's "The Unquiet Grave" in the Grainger Museum

The Grainger Museum is bringing regular music making back to its walls through the new Open Rehearsal engagement initiative.

Featuring musicians from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music and Victorian College of the Arts, visitors can explore the Museum and hear performances in a casual setting. They are encouraged to interact with the performers to discover more about the history of music and meet the future musicians of Melbourne and beyond.

It's great to have a space for our ensemble to rehearse in. It's a lovely space and the acoustics are very good . Vocal Ensemble Students.
